Hey Guys heres some of the upcoming events for Clay County Tiger & Lady Tiger Basketball
The Lady Tigers Are now 3-0 on the season with wins over Harlan, Evarts, and Scott County. The Next Game for the lady tigers will be at home as they host the Knox Central Lady Panthers. Tip off for the girls game will be at 6 tuesday night then immediately following that one will the the boys taking on Knox central. Tip off for that one will be at 7:30pm tuesday night and you can here the boys game between Clay County and Knox Central Tuesday Night at 7:30 LIVE on WKLB 1290 A.M with yours truly with all the Play by Play Pregame at about 7:20.
Also the Bobby Keith Classic will take place on Friday Night December 14th at Clay County High School's Bobby Keith Gymnasium.
At 7pm it will be June Buchanan VS Lexingtion Catholic
At 9pm it will be Clay County taking on the defending state champions Scott County. and you can here that game LIVE on WKLB 1290 A.M with the pregame at about 8:50pm Tip Off at night 9 with yours truly Tyler Wolfe

Okay of Course as many of you may know WKLB is playing nothing but christmas music right now to get everyone into the holiday spirit. Just a reminder if you would like to make a request to hear one of your favorite christmas songs simply telephone
598-2445 or 598-2653 If we have it we will play it. Also we will return to our Country Music format on December 26th.

Both The Lady Tigers & Tigers were victorious tonight.
The Girls win BIG over Knox Central 75-22
The Boys win in a nail biter over the Panthers 62-61. Justin Hobb's foul shot at the free throw line helped Clay County win the game.
The next game for the Tigers will come up on friday night and its gonna be a big night as it will be the Bobby Keith I-HIGH.COM Classic from Clay County High School which will be Televised LIVE on Lexingtons CW-KYT and WYMT-TV 57 Hazard on Friday Night
The Early game at 7pm will be June Buchanan.VS.Lexington Catholic.
And in the Night Cap it will be Clay County.VS.The #1 team in the state Scott County. Tip off at 9pm.
and you can hear the Clay County.VS.Scott County game LIVE via the radio airwaves on WKLB 1290 A.M with the pregame show at about 8:45 or so with Yours Truly, TYLER WOLFE, LIVE on WKLB 1290 A.M
Some of you may have noticed that I wasnt on tonight on WKLB calling tonights boys game. The reason for that was because I had to train somebody to run the board at the station when I'm out calling the games
But dont worry I will be back with you for SURE Friday Night.

Okay guys to start off WKLB RADIO apologizes for bein off the air earlier this afternoon. weve had some transmitter problems for the past several days our transmitter kicked off today and I was not able to get back on the air til about 4:35 today but none to worry all the transmitter problems have been resolved.
Now on to more serious notes:
The Bobby Keith/I High.Com Classic is tomorrow night and its gonna be a big night.
The early game @ 7 will feature the Crusaders of June Buchanan taking on the Knights of Lexington Catholic.
Then in the nightcap it will feature your Clay County Tiger's taking on the defending state champions Scott County at about 9pm or so
Coach Kevin Spurlock recommends fans get out to the high school for the first in order to get a good seat.
and if you aint able to make it out there tomorrow tune in to WKLB 1290 A.M tomorrow night at 8:45 for LIVE coverage of the Clay County.VS.Scott County game with yours truly Tyler Wolfe with the pregame once again at 8:45 and the tip off at 9. Exclusively for Clay County on THE VOICE OF CLAY COUNTY TIGER BASKETBALL/ WKLB 1290 A.M
Also dont forget about the LADY TIGERS saturday night as the travel northwest to take on Louisville Iriquois. tip off at 5:30pm saturday evening support the lady tigers.

Hey There sorry i have not been able to post in the past few days. Ive been down with a Cold but now im about 90% better. Lets continue to talk basketball.
The next contest for the Lady Tigers will come up on Thursday as they travel to Lexington to take on Pulaski Southwestern in the Lexington Holiday Classic. Tip off for that game will be at 5pm thursday so go on up and support the lady tigers.
Now on to the boys
The boys will be participating in the Big Red Shootout
December 20th through the 22nd at C.C.H.S
Thursday Clay County VS Buckhorn at 8pm
Friday Clay County VS Warrensville Heights OH at 8pm
Saturday Clay County VS Sevier County TN at 3pm
ALL GAME WILL BE PLAYED AT C.C.H.S GYM
WKLB 1290 A.M will Have all 3 games LIVE for you with yours truly

Well it was a great night for the TIGERS as they were victorious over the Wildcats of Buckhorn Tonight by the final score of 66-59
Sevier County TN wins over Warrensville Heights OH. 40-37 in a close one
The Schedule for Tomorrow Night will be
6:30 Sevier County TN.VS.Buckhorn
Then at 8pm it will be Clay County VS Warrensville Heights OH.(And you can hear this game LIVE on 1290 A.M WKLB with the pregame show at about 7:55/ Tip Off at 8 or so with Yours truly Tyler Wolfe and also Clay County Tiger Football Player Nathan Dezarn with all the play by play LIVE ON 1290 WKLB.)
Welcome aboard Nathan to the WKLB SPORTS DEPARTMENT.
I will have a picture of me and nathan calling a ball game on here soon.
Also I would like to Welcome aboard Drew Wolfe my little brother to the WKLB staff as he is the board operator for the ball games at WKLB. I also will have picture of him on here soon as well...

Well it was another great night for the TIGERS for the most part as they win over Warrensville Heights OH. In a barn burner 47-46
Sevier County wins over Buckhorn in another Barn Burner. 40-37.
The Next Game for the TIGERS will be tomorrow afternoon as they play Sevier County Tennessee. Tip off at about 3 or 3:15pm and you can hear that game live with Tyler Wolfe & Nathan Dezarn. Pregame at 2:55 LIVE ON WKLB 1290 the Voice of TIGER BASKETBALL.
Also Buckhorn will play Warrensville Heights OH at 1:30pm or so in the third & final day of the Big Red Shootout.
