She is preceded in death by her parents: Sam and Cora Buttery, her husband Johnny Gregory and these brothers and sisters: Patsy Buttery, Mary Buttery, Johnny Sue Needham, and Labon Buttery.

Joyce Gay, age 50 of Manchester departed this life on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on Monday, August 1, 1966 in Manchester, Kentucky to Henry and Rosie (Reid) McQueen. She was a manager at Save A Lot.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Robert Gay and wife Brittany and Hannah Gay; one grandchild: Wrangler Gay; her mother: Rosie McQueen. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Joann McQueen-Jackson, Stanley McQueen, Wanda McQueen, Jimmy McQueen, and Willis McQueen.

Mr. Johnny Arthur Hughes, age 77 of Fogertown departed this life on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. He was born on Tuesday, November 14, 1939 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the union of John L. and Maggie Adkins Hughes. He was a retired Postmaster, a Farmer, a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in Germany and a member of the Pleasant Run Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 36 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of over 54 years Connie Turner Hughes, and his sons: Paul Hughes and his wife Myra and Greg Hughes and his wife Chasity as well as these grandchildren: Shelby Hughes and her husband Calvin, Peyton Hughes, Ethan Hughes, Conner Hughes, Keaton Hughes, Whitney Stacy, Cody Morgan and Christopher Morgan. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: Fred Hughes and his wife Nancy, Jim Hughes and his wife Virginia, Ken Hughes and his wife Lela, Mary Ann Callaway and her husband Gary and Dwight Hughes.

He was born on Friday, November 4, 1932 in Manchester to the union of William and Helen Cash Fullwood. He was a truck driver, coal miner and a member of the 1st Baptist Church on Green Street.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Bobbie Fullwood, Maxine Henson, William Fullwood, Herbert Philpot and his wife Geneva and Russell Philpot and his wife Myrtle as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as these brothers and sister: Archie Fullwood, Flora Fullwood, and John Fullwood.

Mr. Charlie “Blue” Hensley, age 71 of Berea, formerly of Clay County, departed this life on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Berea Hospital. He was born on Monday, January 7, 1946 in Jacks Creek of Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Raymond and Zelphia Childers Hensley.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Vicky Mason Hensley of Berea, his daughters: Cheyenne, Chine and Renee, 7 grandchildren: Matthew, Chad, Amy, Jeremy, Tyler, Deserae, and Alvalynn as well as his brothers: Hobert Hensley and Lloyd Hensley, his sister: Lily Key, and these half-sisters: Laura Ann, Wanda, Lois, and Sallie.

She was born on Sunday, September 11, 1955 in Manchester to the union of Henry and Georgia Bowling Lipps. She was a member of the Manchester Gospel Mission and worked at the Clay County Vocational School as Secretary for over 32 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Christina Hounchell Burnette and Rebecca Hounchell Murphy as well as her grandchildren: Jackson Burnette, Shawna Rayanne Gibson, Alexis Murphy and Micaela Murphy. He was born on Friday, August 18, 1950 in Manchester to the union of Stanley Jack and Marie Bowling Goins. He was a coal miner and a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in Germany and Vietnam.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Sallie Spurlock and her husband Jamie, his grandchildren: James Zachary Spurlock and Kendalyn Faith Spurlock as well as his brothers and sisters: Alex Goins, Virginia Gay and her husband Kevin, Hubert Goins and his wife Lynn and Rebecca Wagers and her husband Donnie.

Darrell Glenn Hudson was born on Sunday, September 10, 1972 at Hyden, Kentucky and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. He was 44 years old at the time of his passing. He leaves surviving his parents: Darrell and Glenna Sue Couch Hudson of Panco, Kentucky in Clay County. He was a lifelong resident of Clay County and a graduate of Clay County High School. He enjoyed serving the Lord, going to church, spending time with his family, tending to his 5000 Facebook friends, eating a good meal, drinking a good cold Mt. Dew and rooting for his beloved Clay County Tigers. He was an active member of the Panco Community Church and the Panco Riders Club. He leaves surviving four aunts and two uncles along with two special nieces Cassie and Hope Couch and countless other family members and friends who mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Maude Gabbard and his maternal grandparents: Amon and Eva Couch and one uncle: Abner Couch. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Panco Community Church, 9626 HWY 1482, Oneida, Kentucky 40972 in memory of Darrell Glenn. She was born on Wednesday, November 25, 1931 in Burning Springs to the union of Chester and Vernia Carmack McDaniel. She was a cook and baker and she worked for the Clay County Board of Education and the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She married George McQueen on Saturday, December 14, 1946 and to that union four children were born: Donna Reid of Burning Springs, Darrell McQueen and his wife Angie of Burning Springs, Sherry Sester and her husband David of Burning Springs and Willa Gibbs and her husband Coleman of Richmond, Kentucky as well as 8 grandchildren: Scott Reid, Todd Reid, Marty Reid Braden, Jennifer Vaughn, Heather McQueen, Amanda Grubb, Lindsey Abner and Leighton Napier, 3 step grandchildren: Danielle Asher, Petie Gibbs and Corey Gibbs, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren as well as her sister: Marie Howard of London and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a heavy equipment operator, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a deacon and member of the Muddy Gap Baptist Church. Mr. Teddy Lee Henson, age 43 of Big Creek departed this life on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on Saturday, July 28, 1973 in Manchester to Floyd Henson and Doshia Wagers Hensley.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Justin Collett and Daniel Collett both of Jacks Creek, Anthony Roark and Mollie Roark both of Little Creek, Melissa Cortes Diaz and Melinda Smallwood both of London. Also surviving is his mother: Doshia Hensley, his girlfriend: Patricia Roark of Little Creek, 7 grandchildren, 3 sisters: Sheila Williams, Fannie Mitchell, and Tracy Stacy, 4 brothers: Waldo Hensley, David Lee Henson, Doyle Wayne Henson, and Bobby Joe (BJ) Henson as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father: Floyd Henson, his step-father: Walter Hensley and his sister: Debbie Sevier.
Funeral Services for Mr. Teddy Lee Henson will be conducted on Wednesday, June 28 at 2 PM at the Jack’s Creek United Methodist Church in Roark, Kentucky. Robert Lee Hacker, Demus Couch and Bobby Holland will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakley Cave Cemetery in Roark.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6:30 PM at the Granny’s Branch Holiness Church and on Tuesday evening after 6 PM at the Jacks Creek United Methodist Church in the Roark Community.

Mr. Gregory Scott Sizemore, age 57 of Oneida, departed this life on Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born on Monday, September 7, 1959 in Hamilton, Ohio to the union of George and Leita Burns Sizemore. He was a carpenter and worked in maintenance at Berea College and was a member of the Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Kyle Croswell and his wife Brittany, Gregory Scott Sizemore and his wife Miranda, and Leita (Sissy) Sizemore. Also surviving is his grandchild: Jayda Fox, his step-grandchild: Ethan Diaz, his father: George Sizemore, his sister: Debbie Woods and her husband Grant as well as his special aunts: Margaret Arnett, Ruby Wright, Naomi Gay, and Sally Richardson and many family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Leita Sizemore and his brother: Larry Lynn Sizemore.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Rominger Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 10:30 AM Graveside at the Davidson Cemetery in Oneida. Rev. Jessie Martin will be presiding. Burial will be in the Davidson Cemetery in Oneida, Kentucky.

Mrs. Vernal McDaniel Harris, age 84 of Manchester departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London, Kentucky. She was born on Thursday, October 20, 1932 in Manchester to the union of Gilbert and Perlina Bowman McDaniel.
She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Lonnie Harris and his wife Elizabeth, her grandson: Rodrick Jerred Harris, and her brother: Jesse McDaniel and his wife: Ella Mae as well as a host of other relatives, friends, nieces and nephews.

She was born on Thursday, September 8, 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio to the union of Ellie Lloyd and Charlottie Brock Hornsby. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God Worship Center.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Judith Burkhart and her husband Ben and her son: Clark Frazier. She was born on Monday, February 23, 1925 at Goose Creek in Clay County to Homer Smith and Phemia Jackson. She was a housewife and a member of the Bear Creek Missionary Methodist Church. She was married to Elba Money for over 68 years and was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and homemaker and she cherished all of her family and friends. She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Shirley Ann Minton of Indiana, Kathy Lang and her husband Dave of Indiana and Toni Jackson and her husband Ronnie of Manchester, 18 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren. Mr. John Wolfe, age 89, of Greenbriar departed this life on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 30, 1927 in Clay County, KY to Carlo and Louvenia Wolfe. He was a retired carpenter, a United States Navy Veteran, a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church, where he served as deacon for over 60 years, and a member of Clay Lodge for 59 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Corene (Bowling) Wolfe, whom he was married to for 67 years, and these children: Tommy Wolfe and wife, Shannon: Bobby Wolfe and wife, Pat: Jimmy Dale Wolfe; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his sister, Sandra Burns and husband, Billy Wayne.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Carlo and Louvenia Wolfe; these sisters and brother: Melba Thompson, Ruth Berry, Lois Wolfe, Stephanie Wolfe, and Carl Wolfe.

Mr. Russell Larry “Democrat” Gibson departed this life on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 13, 1971 to the union of Wayne and Frances Morgan Gibson . He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during Desert Storm and also served in the National Guard. He was very proud to have served his country. He worked in different areas of the coal industry. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Tina Dixon Gibson and these children: Lloyd Gibson, Rusty Gibson, and Abigail Gibson: his mother, Frances Morgan Gibson, his brothers: Ricky Gibson and wife, Paula; Ronald Gibson and wife, Merilda; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Gibson and his grandparents: Luther and Annie Gibson—Henry and Eva Sizemore Morgan.
