She leaves to mourn her passing her children she raised as her own: Jimmie Benge, Irene Benge, Mae Benge and Robert Benge.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Sarah Swafford, her husband Jim Smith and her daughter: Lucille.

Mr. Bobby Bundy, age 78 of London departed this life on Monday, May 14, 2018 at his home. He was born on Saturday, July 22, 1939 in Blue Hole, Kentucky to the union of Oscar and Nannie McCreary Bundy. He was a dry wall contractor, member of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the London VFW.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Ima Jean Marcum Bundy, his son: Neil Bundy, his four grandchildren: Dalton Hampton, Benjamin Hampton, Kennedy Pennington and Lucas Bundy. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: Chelsea Bundy, Holly Ruth, Barbara Cook, Marvin Bundy, Shirley Bundy and Clark Bundy.

Mrs. Mary L. Hinkle, age 82 of Manchester departed this life on Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home. She was born on Tuesday, July 9, 1935 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Rowland and Thelma Curry Brown. She worked for the Clay County Board of Education as a bus driver and was a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Donna Lyttle, Nannie Mae Lumpkins and Teresa Davidson and her husband Jewell. Also surviving are her grandsons: Russell White, Travis Lyttle, Wes Lyttle, Kevin Davidson, Michael Davidson and Jacob Davidson, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as her sisters: Georgia Hazelwood and a special friend: Ernest “Brother” Gibbs. Judy Rae Hensley, 73, passed away at 12:59pm on Friday, May 25, 2018, at her residence. She was born on December 1, 1944, in Granite City, the daughter of the late Paul and Ida Mae (Oram) McBride. She married James Lowell Hensley on April 23, 1966 and he preceded her in death on August 20, 2007. Survivors include four daughters and a son in law: Gale and Andy Schell of Corbin, Kentucky, Judie Ann Hensley of Cecilia, Kentucky, Jennifer Finney of Collinsville, Rebecca Hensley of Dayton, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers in law: Margie and Edward McQuade of Carlyle, Illinois, Paula and Lowell Burton of Caseyville, Illinois, Karen Birchler of Lubbock, Texas, two brothers and sisters in law: Dennis and Patti McBride of Granite City, Randy and Sue McBride of Granite City, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Judy was formerly employed as a cashier at Meijer. She then worked five years and H & R Block prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Farmersville, Ohio Chapter #155 of the Order of the Rob Morris Chapter #98 of the Eastern Star in Fairview Heights. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairview Heights. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Terry Leonard McBride. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Riverbend. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10am until time of funeral services at 11am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Fairview Heights. Edith Wagers, a resident of Benton, KY, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at her home.
Nine children survive her, Willie Wagers (Judy), Lorene Henson, Clarence Wagers (Jennifer), Calvin Wagers (Stephanie), Sandra White (Larry) all of Benton, KY, Evelyn Bundy Wright (James), Melissa White and Carolyn Holman of Merrillville, IN and David Wagers (Barbara) of Manchester, KY. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
She is survived by brother Ray Stevens (Pat), and sister Myrtle Overby of Russell Springs, KY., brothers Paul Stevens (Mary), Earl Stevens (Sue), and sister Sophie Stevens all of Manchester, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Wagers, and twins Billy and Barbara Wagers, her father Dave and her mother Nannie Stevens, her brothers Ernest and Herman Stevens.
Our mother was the wife of a coal miner/steel worker. She raised 11 children of her own, 5 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was the matriarch of a large family. She served God and was happiest in church. She was a wonderful cook and made anyone feel welcome at our home.
Funeral Services for Edith Wagers will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11 AM at the Buzzard Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Stevens Family Cemetery in the Buzzard Community.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Walter Jordan, age 79 departed this life on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on Saturday, March 4, 1939 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Henry and Susie Edwards Jordan. He was a diesel mechanic and a member of the Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Norma Allen Jordan, his sons: Jason Lynn Jordan, Walter Dewayne Jordan, Jonathan Jordan, and Coby Blake Tyler Jordan, his step-daughter: Anita Owens and his grandchildren: Wesley Johnson, Chase Lewis, Jeffrey Jordan, Damon Jordan, Dakota Jordan, Trevor Jordan, and Charlie Jordan as well as his great grandson: Eli Johnson. Chester “Teddy” Webb, II was born on August 14, 1966 to the union of Chester “Teddy” and Frances Smith Webb in Corbin, Ky. Teddy fought a hard battle with cancer. His battle ended here on Earth on June 18, 2018, but his heavenly home was awaiting him. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents and one great nephew, Keaton Lee Osborne. Teddy leaves behind his beloved daughters: Whitney (Matt) Brennan, Megan (Logan) Bowling and their mother, Donna. Teddy was a proud grandfather to Analeigh Bowling, Erin Brennan, Leighton Bowling, Lucas Brennan and Haley Bowling. Teddy was adored by his older sister, Mitzi (Dennis) Steely and Tammie (Gary) Brooks. Teddy was more like a brother than an uncle to Renata (Nicole) Osborne, Roger (Janet) Osborne, Gilbert (Kara) Steely and Beth (Tim) Bryant. Teddy also leaves behind six great nieces and 2 great nephews. Teddy was loved by so many more family members and friends. He left an impression on everyone he met. Teddy wore many hats throughout his life, including: firefighter, business owner, derby demo driver, Hearthside Food Solutions employee, bingo player and U K Wildcat Fan. Mr. Clifford Thompson, age 73 departed this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born on Friday, July 14, 1944 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Otto and Georgia (Payne) Thompson. He was of the pentecostal faith and a coal miner. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Mossie (Bowling) Thompson and these children: Clifford Wayne Thompson, Melissa Kay Wombles, Billy Shaun Thompson, Charles Anthony Thompson, and Shauna Nicole Thompson. Also surviving is Theresa Henson Blake, she loved him as a father. These grandchildren are surviving: Austin Lane Thompson, Danielle Nicole Wombles, Jordan Alyssa Wombles, Camron Wombles and Kirsten Paige Wombles; and 2 great grandchildren: Landon Douglas Phillips and Emily Ann Phillips. Mr. Ronnie Ferguson, age 71 of Apopka, formerly of Clay County, departed this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He was born on Thursday, October 24, 1946 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Oliver and Elizabeth Webb Ferguson. He worked in construction and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Keri Lane Pettit and her husband Bob, his son: Ronnie Dewayne Ferguson, 2 grandchildren: Kyle Pettit and wife Mary and Kelly Pettit. It is with great sadness that the family of “L.D.” Landy Keen announce his passing. He passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky on Friday, July 20, 2018 from complications of an injury due to a fall. He was born on October 30, 1939 to the late Thomas and Oda Smith Keen. He leaves to mourn his passing two sisters: Marie Stewart of Buzzard and Hazel Craft of Brookpark, Ohio, he also leaves a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by these brothers and sisters: Bessie Hubbard, Sudie Smith, Mattie Harris, McKinley Keen and William Keen, he was also preceded in death by these infant brothers and sisters: Edward Keen, Elijah Keen, Earnest Keen and Nola Keen. L.D. grew up in the Buzzard Community, he worked as a surveyor for Meredith Surveying, built houses for FHA and Manchester Automotive. He was very intelligent, some of his hobbies was playing a guitar, reading, telling stories and loved to travel, especially out west. L.D. will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered by all that knew him whether it be family or his friends. He was always there if you needed him. Willa Mae Roberts Curry, age 86, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 in a local health care facility. Mrs. Curry was the daughter of the late Lillian Hicks Roberts and Gib Roberts and was born on Sunday, July 7, 1932. Her husband, Edward L. "Ted" Curry, her son, Russell Edward Curry and her brother, Vernon Roberts also preceded her in death. Mrs. Curry was a homemaker and a military wife. She enjoyed cooking, flowers and vacations to Florida but most of all, she loved taking care of her family and spending time with them. She was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God. Survivors include her daughters, Cassandra Curry Booth, Kim Curry Boggess and her husband Mike all of Cleveland, her sons, Larry Curry and his wife Lynne of Cleveland, Terry Curry and his wife Margie of Florida, Tim Curry and his wife Lola, Hank Curry all of Cleveland, Chris Curry and his wife Terese of Ohio, her 16 grandchildren, her 20 great grandchildren, her daughter in law, Rhonda Price Curry of Cleveland, her sisters, Ann Dearth and her husband Jim of Cleveland, Roble Miller and Bernice Brown and her husband Terry all of Kentucky, her cat, "Sneaky" and several nieces and nephews also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rusty Roberts will be presiding. Mr. Roy Scott, age 75 of Hodgenville, Kentucky formerly of Manchester departed this life on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was born on Friday, March 12, 1943 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Isom and Gracie Campbell Scott. He was a heavy equipment mechanic. He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Roy David Scott and his wife Gail, his daughters: Karen Rock and her husband Darrell and Deborah Cushman and her husband Tom. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Bradley Scott and his wife Jennifer, Jennifer Nunn and her husband Keith, Kristi Wells and her husband Kyle, Christopher Rock and Jonathan Rock and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Isom and Gracie Scott, his wife: Lois Scott and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Betty Sue Henson age 74 of Manchester went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Greg or Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. She was born on Saturday, February 19, 1944 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of John Ed and Drucilla Gilbert Pennington. She was retired from Daniel Boone where she worked as a secretary and was a member of the Liberty Holiness Church. She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Jessie Kemp and his wife Carolita, her granddaughter: Jessica Lynn Middleton and her great grandchildren: Alexis Paige Baker, Alyssa Payton Jones, Jonathan Jones and Dylan Middleton. Also surviving are her nieces: Tina Pennington, Trina Pennington Henson and Felicia Neal, her great nephews: Brayden Pennington and Angler Gauge England. She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Roger Gilbert and his wife Linda, her daughter: Patricia Smith, her grandchild: Lori Baldwin, her great grandchildren: Hannah Jo Williams, Justin Ryan Williams and James Patrick Baldwin. He worked at a sawmill, was a member of the Pentecostal Church and was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in World War II and was very proud to have served his country.
