Clay VS Cawood! Congratulations to Coach Jamie Gilbert and The Lady Tigers fast-pitch softball team!! The Lady Tigers were in action against Cawood High School and came away the victory, with a score of 3-0. Pitcher, Jayme Gilbert, got her fifth win of the 2006 season. She is now 5-0 for the season. The J.V. team also won by a score of 6-5 in the third inning. Pitcher Bethanni Herron received her fifth win of the season as well; Cursy Smith got her fourth save. J.V. is now 5-0 for season. Scoring for The Lady Tigers are as follows: Daniel “Fish” Fisher (catcher) comes away with a 1 single 2 rbi’s. Brittany Napier (center field) 1 walk Sarah “Dolly” Partin (centerfield) 1 single (bunt) and scoring at the plate once Bethanni Herron (right field) 1 single, 1 walk, and scoring at the plate once. Chastity Lewis (left field) 1 walk Jaymie “Skooly” Gilbert (pitcher) the wining pitcher with 10 K's, 1 single and scoring at the plate once to add to her cause. Mariah Aubrey (short stop) 1 walk A special thanks to Amanda Gilbert (stats and score keeper) Clay County Lady Tigers are now 5-0 for the season. ”The Mayor’s” Player of the Game is Daniel “Fish” Fisher tied with Jayme “Skooly” Gilbert. “Fish” with a single and 2 RBI’s and “Skooly” with 10 strikeouts and a single.
