Fear of bone loss need not keep you from shedding pounds. Small-framed individuals with lower body weights are more susceptible to low bone mineral density (BMD), but fat loss from exercise in people over the age of 55 does not lower BMD, a study reveals. Lose weight with a combination of diet modification and extra exercise, and don't forget your daily calcium supplement.
Exercising regularly can make your real age as much as 9 years younger.
