Take control of incontinence
Cut down on caffeine and alcohol, which can aggravate incontinence.
Avoid artificial sweeteners containing aspartame.
Drink 8 glasses of water throughout the day. But do not drink any liquids for at least 3 hours before you go to bed, to decrease the likelihood of waking up during the night with an urge to urinate.
