Keep moving The lymph deals with the coarsest toxins and highly acidic waste in the body. Unlike blood lymph, it does not have a pump to move through the system and depends on gravity and regular movement from the body. Herbs like grapefruit and ginger are one way of stimulating movement in the lymphatic system and also detoxifies the lymph. Regular rhythmic exercise or skin brushing also does the trick. How does skin brushing work? Get undressed and on dry skin using a loofa very gently stroke the skin towards the heart. Starting from the feet up, hands towards the body and gently on tummy in a circular movement. Not the breasts. You should have tinseling feeling.
