horse creek park recived $1,000.00 dollars on wednesday december 21,2005 at the jackson energy office in mckee kentucky. look for a picture of president and myself and the money will be use for upgrade and improvement in the park. a lot of people looking what will be add to park this year and here goes. there will be a concession stand is now being build now at the clay county tech school at laurel creek also the fence that we lost will be put back up starting on monday of next week put up by hibbard's fencing company. with the fencing and concession stand with the 1000.00 dollars donation from jackson energy operation roundup we can see things starting to go up. we want to thank jackson energy for their grant. we are still waiting on one more grant which is from department of transpation and department of local government which call for 15,000.00 and the county suppose to match the 15,000.00 which make it a total 30,000.00 dollars grant which called for bathrooms and lights this should be complete by june 30,2008 called also for a walking track. pepsi cola company suppose to give a scoreboard to the park. i look for this after to come after we get the fence up. the fence and concession stand being make possible by a grant of $7500.00 though cumberland valley add board adf fund. all grants is made possible though the clay county fiscal court with the exception of the jackson energy grant.
