Clay County freshman Zach Lewis completed 32 of 49 passes for 432 yards, and the Tigers outgained Ashland 475-271 and had 25 first downs to eight for the Tomcats. Ashland ran 40 fewer plays than Clay County but had 260 return yards. "I told one of the officials at halftime, I guarantee you this: You'll never have another game where the quarterback has thrown for 300 yards and the team has rushed for 50 and be down 42-0," Clay County coach Aaron Stepp told The Ashland Daily-Independent. "You'll never see it again."
