Brian Evans steps down as Knox Central's head basketball coach. Evans took over when the Panthers parted ways with former basketball standout Brandon Elam following the 2008-09 basketball season. In his five years as head coach, Evans has helped guide the Panthers to a 91-58 overall record and five 51st District titles. The long-time coach does leave behind a team that many pick to be the tops in the 13th Region next year. www.thetimestribune.com/sports/x1396869648/Evans-steps-down
