Mr. Lonnie D. Bowles, age 66 departed this life on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on Monday, March 6, 1950 in Tyner, Kentucky to Elbert and Leonia Ferguson Bowles. He was a foreman and lineman for Jackson Energy and a member of the Manchester Gospel Mission.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Terresa Hooker Bowles and these children: Craig Bowles and wife Brittany, Kim Hacker and her husband Jimmy, and Anthony Combs and his wife Olivia and his granddaughter he raised as his own since birth, Rebecca Bowles. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Austin Roberts, Conner Bowles, Carson Bowles, Abigail Bowles, Sophia Combs and Abram Combs; 2 great grandchildren: Kenley Mitchell and Kaiden Mitchell and these brothers and sisters: Doris Baldwin, Ileene Carter, Wendell Bowles, Vadus Bowles, Wayne Bowles, Donnie Bowles, Marleen Reames, Darlene Combs, and Patricia Hubbard.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Elbert and Leonia Bowles, his daughter: Bridgett Roberts, the mother of his children: Kathy Bowles, and his brother: Ralph Bowles.

Mr. Tommy Jones, Jr. age 80 of Loveland, Ohio departed this life on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on Thursday, June 4, 1936 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Tom Jones, Sr. and Ivory Goins Jones. He was a retired machinist and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Milford, Ohio.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Lula Faye Jones, a special great niece: Bella Grace Whitaker and many other special nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Tom Jones, Sr. and Ivory Jones.

Dr. Morgan Scott Hooker, age 42 of Manchester went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, July 13, 1974 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Morgan and Linda Saylor Hooker. He was a Physical Therapist, a graduate of the Breathitt County High School, attended Centre College, received a Bachelor’s degree and his Master’s Degree from the University of Kentucky, a Doctorate from Temple University, and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity as well as a member of the Manchester Gospel Mission. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Kelly Watkins Hooker, his children: Adyson Kristy Hooker, Jaxon Scott Hooker and Lorelei Elizabeth Hooker as well as his parents: Morgan and Linda Hooker and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Donnie and Mary Watkins. Morgan Scott has been very involved with the youth, especially in sports, with Clay County Athletics as well as other counties. He is preceded in death by his sisters: Elizabeth Kate Hooker and Kristy Irene Hooker, his grandparents: George and Kate Saylor and Hubert and Irene Hooker. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Clay Co. Cancer Coalition in memory of Dr. Morgan Scott Hooker. A celebration of life for Dr. Morgan Scott Hooker will he held on Sunday, September 18 at 2 PM at the Clay County High School Gymnasium. Rev. Mrs. Sharon Kay Bays Roark, age 68 departed this life on Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Clay County, Kentucky. She was born on Monday, March 29, 1948 in Knox County, Kentucky to Hardin and Mary Wilson Bays. She was a member of the holiness church, a cosmetologist and worked as a nurse’s aide at the Manchester Memorial Hospital and was a caregiver.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Charles Roark, although she had no children, she claimed her sister Linda’s children as her own: Mechelle Hoskins Johnson, Angela Hoskins Jackson and Jerry Jason Hoskins. She loved all of her nieces and nephews dearly. She also leaves the following brother and sisters to mourn her passing: Linda Bays Harris and her husband Estill, Bonnie Bays Jackson and her husband John, Jerry Bays and his wife Zelma, and William “Kenny Boy” Frederick and his wife Lovella as well as a host of friends and family.

Jamie Lee Bennington 42, passed away Friday, October the 14th while sleeping. Jamie was loved and cherished by both family and friends, He enjoyed his life.
Jamie was born Sunday, July 21, 1974 to the union of Gloria Byrd Bennington and Stanley Bennington in Erlanger, Kentucky
Mourning his passing are his three sons : Tyler Finkenstedt Bennington 21, Alexander Bennington 18 and Marshall Bennington 17, one granddaughter Adrianna Hall 7 and the mother of his children Jennifer Finkenstedt all of Erlanger, Kentucky. Jamie's sons were the highlight and joy of his life.
He is survived by his loving Grandmother Edith Byrd Caudill of Holiday ,Florida , His father Stanley Bennington of Indianapolis, Indiana. Jamie's sister and brother Sandra and Gerald Hoskins Jr. He also leaves to mourn his passing his great aunt Rosa Ball Heuser and great uncle Herbert Ball.

David Hibbard, age 36 of Manchester departed this life on Monday, November 14, 2016 at his home. He was born on Friday, April 25, 1980 to Floyd and Brenda Sue Reynolds Hibbard.
He leaves to mourn his passing his mother: Brenda Sue Hibbard, his sister: Kisha Hibbard, and his brothers: Chris Meadows and his wife Shannon and Greg Hibbard. Brice Alan Hobbs, age 15 of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 in Lexington, Kentucky to Finley and Charlotte Ann Hibbard Hobbs. Brice was a sophomore at the Clay County High School; he was a member of the Clay County High School Academic Team, Clay County High School Band and a member of the Robotics Team. He also played the guitar, saxophone, loved the beach, going to the movies, and was an Xbox Nerd.
He is survived by his parents: Finley and Charlotte Hobbs, his brother: Brian Finley Hobbs, niece: Finley Elaine Hobbs, Pappaw Rollie Reid and Granny Elsie Reid.
He is preceded in death by his Pappaw Charlie Hobbs and his Granny Wilma Hobbs.

He also served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.
