She was born on Monday, August 6, 1951 in Manchester, Kentucky to William “Bill” and Mattie Couch Philpot. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Brandi Philpot Napier and her husband Anthony, her grandchildren: McKenzie Napier, Cameron Napier and Jaden Napier. Also surviving are her sisters: Mollie Estep, Sarah Mills Bundy and her husband Jim, Mary Jones and her husband Clifton and Ora Kay Osborne and her husband Steve as well as her brother-in-law: Sidney Burns and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: William “Bill” and Mattie Philpot, her brother: Steve Edward Philpot and her sister: America Burns.

Alvin Wolfe, age 81 departed this life on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his home. He was born on Thursday, August 17, 1939 in Manchester to Granville and Anna Harris Wolfe. He worked in a saw mill and for Saul Goins for many years.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Danny Wolfe and his wife Tisha, Elbert Lee Wolfe and Paul Barrett as well as several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, his brothers: Freddy Wolfe and Patrick Wolfe.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Granville and Anna Wolfe, his wife: Bessie Wolfe and his daughter-in-law: Sandra Barrett.

Mary Marie Keen Swafford was born on Saturday, January 23, 1943. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the union of McKinley and Lida Abner Keen.
She was a homemaker and a life long resident of Clay County. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved flower gardening and sewing. She was a member of the Otter Creek Baptist Church.

Dora Stewart Davidson June 8, 1932 –March 31, 2021 She loved a lot in her time. Mrs. Dora Stewart Davidson, age 88 years, of 701 Crane Branch Road, Oneida, Clay County, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Perry County, Kentucky. She was born on Wednesday, June 8, 1932, in Oneida, Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Burchell Stewart and Sally Ann Spurlock Stewart. She was a Homemaker and devoted Christian of the Baptist Faith. Dora was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio until the age of 13 when she decided to move back home to Red Bird on the banks of the South Fork of the Kentucky River with her Ma and Pa, Florence Martin Spurlock and Bev Spurlock until she met and married Samuel Davidson at the tender age of 15 in 1949. Sammy moved Dora from Red Bird to Bullskin where they raised their three children, Rachel, Jesse L. and Deloise and lived happily while Rev. Samuel Davidson preached and sang the gospel until his untimely death in 1973 leaving Dora a young Widow at the age of 41. Dora never remarried and spent her life serving her Lord, spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling and being a light to all who knew her. Dora leaves to mourn her passing her children: her son Jesse L. Davidson (Edith) and her daughter, Deloise Davidson Bentley (David R.) She worked in food service at the Big Creek Elementary School and was a member of the Big Creek Holiness Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Geraldine Burns (Donnie), Anna Lee Massey (James), Rosa Lee Spisak (Thomas), Charles Edwin Roberts (Denise) and Monroe Roberts (Andra). Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.

Bobby Hoskins, 77 of Manchester, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at the Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel in Manchester, Kentucky.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, May 6th at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Reid and Todd Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens in Manchester, Kentucky.
Bobby was born to the late Willie and Marie Hoskins in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 16, 1943. He was a mechanic most of his life and could fix most anything that had a motor. Bobby was a member of the Morgan Branch Pentecostal Church.
Bobby was blessed with a large and loving family. He married the love of his life, Cordia Stewart on April 18, 1961. This year they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Together they raised 5 children. He taught his children to always work hard at whatever they do in live. He was so proud of his children.
Bobby lived his life to the fullest and among his passions were family, the great outdoors, travel, music, classic cars and singing for the Lord.
Bobby was kind and compassionate always being there for his family and friends. He always had time to answer a question, solve a problem or lend a hand. His quick wit and humor will be dearly missed by many.
Bobby is survived by his wife: Cordia and his children: Billie and Randy Young of Manchester, Kentucky, Buster and Glenda Hoskins of Manchester, Kentucky, Walter Hoskins of Manchester, Kentucky, Daniel and Linda Hoskins of Lily, Kentucky and Lisa and Scott Emond of Manchester, Kentucky. Together Bobby and Cordia have nine grandchildren: Angela Hampton, Buster Hoskins, Joshua Young, Chris Mills, Christopher Hoskins, Justin Emond, Ashley Sowders, Courtney Emond and Jonathan Hoskins. Bobby and Cordia also have 19 great grandchildren.
Bobby is preceded in death by his brothers: John Hoskins and Dennis Hoskins and his sisters: Edna Rae Morris, Della Grace Roberts and Wanda Browning.
Bobby is survived by his brothers: Hughie Hoskins, Dwight Hoskins, Glen Hoskins and Archie Hoskins along with his sisters: Linda Price and Mary Davis.
