God's View of Abortion Since January 22, 1973 we have killed nearly 57 million of our own children. That number is equal to 20% of our total population in this country. And don’t be fooled by the political rhetoric: only 1% of those killings had anything to do with rape, incest, or the mother’s life being in danger. 99% of this murderous holocaust has been done because these children were thought to be an inconvenience! What heights of selfishness we’ve now reached! Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“Who is Standing in the Gap?” Some 600 years before Christ came to earth the nation of Judah was falling apart. Ministers had stopped teaching Biblical morality for fear they’d lose their income. Government leaders had approved the murder of the innocent in their nation. Citizens had oppressed the poor with money loaned by interest, and the bribery of judges. (Ezekiel 22: 25-29) Does all this sound familiar? God warned them that He would judge them and destroy their nation if they didn’t repent. They didn’t. Destruction came by the hand of the King of Babylon, whom God called, His “servant”. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“Are We Slaves of Socialism?” Ask a parent if they can spank their child without fear of the government removing the child from them. Ask a school teacher if they can choose their own curriculum. Ask a physician if they can choose the type of medicine, therapy, or hospital, by which they care for their patients. Ask a business owner if he can operate without first consulting government as to his location, pay for employees, and tools he uses. Ask a church if they can build a building or parking lot without first asking government about septic systems, phone taxes, employee taxes, fire prevention restrictions. Ask an individual how long he works each year just to pay the government what he is taxed. Let me answer that one for you; in 2013 all Americans worked until April 18th just to pay local, state and national taxes — 30% of their work year!! “Revival Can Happen in Our Day” On February 3rd in 1970, God worked a modern day revival in central Kentucky. A Chapel service at Asbury College was invaded by the Holy Spirit of God. His work Revival Can Happen in Our Day1would go deep in the hearts of students, faculty members and many others, for the next eight days. Classes were cancelled as most of the college family waited in the Presence of God. Honest confessions of sin, private and public, were the norm as one person after another made their way to the altar at the front of the auditorium. After their surrender of every area of their lives, they would walk up onto the platform and give their witness to the whole group as to what God had done in them. This was repeated in hundreds of individuals over the eight day span as there were always some people in Hughes Auditorium for every hour of those eight days. “The Gender Agenda” I recall once hearing a state legislator in Kentucky argue that there was no such thing as a The Gender Agenda1“homosexual agenda”. However, David Gibbs, President of the Christian Law Association in America, tells how he was in a state government committee hearing about 30 years ago where an attorney speaking for the homosexuals related their plan to gain acceptance for their lifestyle. But why should we question that there is a plan? Since the Garden of Eden, satan has had a plan to keep man from becoming what God had created him to be. Years ago, the apostle Paul revealed satan’s schemes to control man and this earth. Paul wrote in Ephesians 6, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:12-13) Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“The Gender Agenda vs The Church” What would your church do if the parents of a lesbian daughter asked you to perform her funeral -AND- insisted a picture be showed of her kissing her lesbian partner? According to writer, Bryan Fischer, this has already happened to a church in Colorado. What if they threatened to sue the church if it didn’t perform the funeral? What would your church leadership do? These are the exact kinds of choices we’re heading for in this land. David Gibbs, President of the Christian Heritage Ministries of KentuckyLaw Association in America, warns us that the homosexuals have an agenda to take control of the media, of business, of civil government, and of the church, in order to force acceptance of their lifestyle on us. They’ve gained so much control of the media, business, and civil government, that they are now invading the church’s territory, insisting it bow to an all-powerful, socialist form of government. “His Order, Our Help” Except for one thing, the state of our land could be very discouraging. If we look only at the Moslem threat, the homosexual agenda, or the work of socialists inside our governments, we could well be in despair. However, if any person or people set their will to walk in the order of God, they have proven to be invincible under any circumstances. It is my hope, His Order-Our Help1that if we can experience revival, we would need not fear any enemy, internal or external. The Bible teaches that one with God is always a majority. Moses stood at the Red Sea without a single earthly hope of being delivered from Pharaoh’s fast approaching army. But because he was obeying God in bringing out His people from bondage, God said through Moses, “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD…” (Exodus 14:13)
Moses obeyed, and, to his amazement, he watched God’s people get delivered from the greatest army on earth. God still does this today. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“Will You Be a Soldier For Truth?” In April of 1917 the United States entered into World War I. While all wars are caused by the selfishness of man, the desire of our people as a whole was not our own gain. Rather, it was our desire to protect the liberty which God had entrusted to us. And our people responded in great numbers to the request of President Woodrow Wilson to Will You Be a Soldier For Truth1observe a Day of Public Humiliation, Prayer and Fasting on May 11, 1918. He requested our people to: “…humbly and devoutly…acknowledge our dependence on Almighty God and to implore His aid and protection…with religious solemnity and the offering of fervent supplications to Almighty God for the safety and welfare of our cause, His blessings on our arms, and a speedy restoration of an honorable and lasting peace to the nations of the earth…” American Minute by William FedererOur prayers “were heard and graciously answered”. Few would argue that it was American arms which won the day for liberty in the nations of the earth and brought this mighty scourge of war to an end. And while answered prayer cannot be scientifically proven, an honest analysis of the outcome of battles and their timing can only admit that God’s Hand was evident. “Why Did Americans Fight for Independence?” On April 19, 1775, seventy-five American Farmers faced an overwhelming force of some 600 British professional soldiers. The Americans were out-manned, out-gunned, and out-trained. And when the first shots were fired, nine of the Americans fell dead. Why were they willing to face such overwhelming odds? Were they dreamers? Were they crazy? Were they men of such noble ideas they were willing to die for them? While they were all these things (except crazy) they had an even greater reason for resisting the King of England. They believed they were obeying the God of the Bible with their resistance. Their Congress had stated, Why Did Americans Fight for Independence1“Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian…duty of each individual ….Continue steadfast, and with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us.”
When our ancestors defended themselves on Lexington Green, and later much more successfully at Concord Bridge, they believed they were walking in a principle of liberty taught in the Bible. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“The Underlying Ideas of American Independence” The time had finally come. After twenty years of growing government interference into the affairs of the American Colonies, the patience of Americans was exhausted. The Representatives of America had appealed to their British King and the Parliament over and over during those twenty years, and had only been insulted for their efforts. Over The Underlying Ideas of American Independence1and over the King had treated their appeals with disdain. Finally, Thomas Jefferson would sum up the attitude of the majority of Americans when he wrote in The Declaration of Independence, “A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”
The final break with England began on March 16, 1776. The Continental Congress, representing each of the thirteen colonies, called upon the American people to observe a day “of fasting, humiliation, and prayer”. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“Defending the Liberty of Others” n 2007, a lady from Argentina cried out to us in America and said, “We pray you people of the United States stand up and hold on, for we are counting on you to defend our freedom.” Does that not make you feel a great responsibility? It certainly should! Defending the Liberty of Others1While we go about enjoying our prosperous lifestyles the rest of the world longs for the opportunity to be able to compete in the market place without the interference of an oppressive government. While we use our abundant free time for every conceivable pleasure known to man, the rest of the world only dreams of having a work day that didn’t last from daylight to dark every day. While we use our freedom to frequent golf courses, ballgames, and shopping malls, most people on earth long for enough freedom just to teach their children how to keep body and soul together. “Do Gospel and Government Mix?” Recently a young friend of mine sent me an article he was disturbed about. A man, who no doubt is a sincere believer, was saying Christians should not be involved in government because, as he said, “God’s kingdom isn’t here on earth”. He went on to put forth the idea that our work as Christians is to share the Gospel with the lost, not to lobby in government. This is a common mistake I hear believers make. They divide life into the “spiritual” and the “secular” parts. In their thinking, neither is supposed to affect the other. Is God’s kingdom only in heaven? If that were true, why did God say in Genesis 1:26 that the reason He made us was so we would be “in His image, after His likeness, and have dominion over…all the earth”? If we were made to look like God, live like God, and rule like God, as this verse teaches, whose kingdom did He desire to be on this earth? Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“Government Must Limit Man’s Selfishness” As America’s Founding Fathers were growing up as children one of the greatest revivals in all of history was occurring. It would come to be called “The Great Awakening” as the Holy Spirit of God awakened Americans to the faith their Pilgrim Government Must Limit Man's Selfishness1ancestors had known so well. The Bible became the standard once again for morals as well as manners. They would grow up with the view of God and the view of man which the Bible revealed. The Ten Commandments would set the boundaries for what was right and wrong in their generation. The Biblical structure for education, business, and government would become their quest in building their society. Their view of God was not the “teddy bear” god we’ve tried to shaped Him into in our day; rather, it was the Biblical revelation of Him as the awesome Creator and Ruler of all that is. Because He was our Maker and Redeemer (in Christ) He was the One Who would be our Judge. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“What Can We Do Now?” On November 13, 2008, the week after Mr. Obama was elected the first time, the Think About It message was entitled “What We Can Expect”. We offered the following analysis of what government would become. We stated, What Can We Do Now1“In the governmental realm we can expect more and more animosity toward the churches which teach the Bible to be true. This will probably also include Jewish synagogues. It follows that moral issues like trying to stop abortion and homosexuality will be impossible, unless God Himself intervenes.” Now that we are seeing this, what do we do? We must now be willing to suffer for speaking the truth to people. This is a first for our nation… Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“What Can the Righteous Do?” The Psalmist cried out, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)
In the wake of the Supreme Court saying that it is now “law” that marriage is not between a man and a woman only, what can we do? What Can the Righteous Do? One thing we can do is realize that the Supreme Court cannot make law!! The Constitution, the law that we agreed to live by in 1789, reserves the right to make national law to the Congress, and the right to make state law to the state Legislatures. Nowhere does it allow the Supreme Court to make law. Thus, just because the Court tells us whether something is Constitutional does not mean we have to live by their decision. Their ruling is not law! It is only an opinion! We must respectfully disobey their ruling on marriage! Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

Parents fear that their children will experience the violence of a street gang, or rapist, or satanist— or they fear their teenage daughter may turn up pregnant. “Light in the Darkness” According to lots of sources, economic collapse is a real possibility soon—perhaps even in the next two months. The national debt, under the Obama administration, has risen a whopping 70%!! It was 10 trillion when he took office; it is now 18 trillion! That means every taxpayer’s share of the national debt is over $150,000!! Add to the deadly debt, the attack on religious liberty. Homosexual socialists are now working hard to destroy the church, which is the last bastion of defense against their movement toward a one world order. “Numbers Make the Difference” On August 22nd, 2015, more than 6,000 people gathered on the grounds of Kentucky’s State Capitol to say to Kentucky’s Governor and Legislators: “Protect the religious liberty of County Clerks!” This Rally was planned in order to support courageous County Clerks in three counties who have said they will not issue marriage license to homosexual couples. Their reason: Their religious convictions disagree with homosexuality. Therefore, to issue a marriage license to those who are breaking God’s Commandments would place the clerk on the side against God. Praise God! He has heard and answered the prayers of His people for her. So, did Kim Davis do the right thing by standing for her religious liberty—liberty that says the U.S. Defending Religious Liberty1Supreme Court is wrong in their decision to “redefine” marriage? Is it Biblical to resist civil government, or should we always obey the civil law? The Bible does teach us to be respectful of governmental authority because God created government. “Cautiously Resist Disordered Government” In the late 1700’s, there were those in France who dreamed of establishing a much better government in their nation. Their battle cry was, “Liberty, equality, and fraternity”, meaning “brotherhood”. Their dream was good; for God puts these desires in the heart Cautiously Resist Disordered Government1of all men. However, they attempted to work what they called a “revolution”, without depending on the God of heaven. This was much different from America’s Founding Fathers, who worked a true revolution by publicly acknowledging in our Declaration of Independence, “a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence…” In America the greatest amount of liberty was established for the greatest number of citizens of any nation in history. The high ideals in France ended in a bloodbath by a dictatorial government. In our present trend of a growing dictatorial national government, we can learn much from these two different attempts at establishing liberty. In a previous message, we listed several Biblical examples where people disobeyed bad civil law with the blessing of God. There is a time for this. But how do we know when that time is? Reasons Which Impelled Them to the Separation Part 1 Should Christians always obey civil law? The Apostles’ reply to the civil authorities of their day established the answer to that question. They stated, “We ought to obey God rather than men.”
We must obey civil law only if it agrees with the Scripture. Building from this principle, when America’s Founders wrote The Declaration of Independence they actually listed 27 reasons why they should declare their independence from England, because the King had broken “the laws of nature and of nature’s God”, and had violated the citizen’s rights of “life, liberty, and [property]”. Reasons Which Impelled Them to the Separation Part 2 Is there any good reason that we should study history? Do documents like The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution hold any significance for us today? They most certainly do! Number one, God tells us in the Bible to “Remember the days 1Reasons Which Impelled Them to the of old, consider the years of many generations…” (Deuteronomy 32:7) He wants us to understand that history is “His-Story”. What He taught a previous generation He wants us to bring into our generation. That with which satan enslaved a previous generation, God wants us to get free of. But if we don’t know history, how can we keep the good and remove the bad? Since all of us start life in this world with a sin-root in our thinking (Romans 5:12), we will tend to move toward satan’s enslavement in our society unless we know what God taught previous generations. This is why God taught the Jews that their education system must be the channel through which the parents teach their children His ways. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“Teach Voting” In America’s early education system one of the things that was constantly taught was the Biblical understanding of government. Children were taught to govern Teach Voting1themselves by internal choices. They were taught to reason every choice back to its root; that is, “What God says in the Bible about what I am facing”. This was education God’s way. That education system created a moral people. Noah Webster, in his original American dictionary defined “moral” as: “The conformity of an act to the divine law.” Thus a people developed in this nation who had stable emotions. That created persistence in what they set out to accomplish. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“Will You Rule Through Voting?” We are coming up on the most important election Kentucky has ever had. Our state governments are our last line of defense against this socialist Washington government. Will You Rule Through Voting1We must elect statesmen instead of politicians in our state governments! Let’s consider why our one vote is so very important: Because of sin, the root of selfishness came into mankind in the Garden of Eden. Thus, God established civil government to control that selfishness in man. But because that root is in all men we need for civil government to control not only the ruled but the rulers as well! James Madison, who wrote most of our U.S. Constitution, stated, “In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed, and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”
In other words, law must be equally binding on those who rule as well as those who are ruled—because all of us are inherently selfish!! Click below to read or listen to the entire article:

“The Reason, Structure, and Spirit of Government” Should churches teach concerning government? The real question is: What does the Bible say about civil government? Because if something is in the Bible, we who are the teachers in the Body of Christ are under God’s call to teach it. We must declare “the whole counsel of God”. (Acts 20:27) So let’s look at what the Bible teaches concerning the reason for, and the structure and spirit of, civil government. God’s reason for creating civil government is stated very plainly in 1 Peter 2:13-14,The Reason, Structure, and Spirit of Government “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.”
God created civil government for “the punishment of evildoers”. God knew that once we rebelled against Him in the Garden of Eden, the selfishness that entered mankind would move one man to take away the rights of another man. Thus, civil government is God’s minister to punish the one who would take away another’s “life, liberty, or [property]”. This is the only way to slow down the selfishness in man…. “But Why Did The Pilgrims Come?” The Pilgrims landed in America nearly 400 years ago. But do you know why they came to America? Was it to start a new life? Well, yes. But what kind of life? Was it so they could be free? Well, yes—but what kind of freedom were they looking for? Because most of us don’t know the answer to these questions is why we continue to accept—or even vote for— more and more of the slavery from which they were fleeing. But Why Did The Pilgrims Come1Perhaps you would say, “They came here for religious freedom.” And you would be right. But—what kind of religious freedom? Did they come merely so they could sing songs to God and study the Bible in their own gatherings? No, they came with a much broader desire than that. You see, the Pilgrims understood they must be able to create a community with institutions based in the Bible. They understood something we’ve forgotten in the last 100 years, that is, that all law is just the codification of some religious belief! In other words, civil law will either protect the right to “propagate the Gospel of the Kingdom of Christ” or it will block the “propagation of the Gospel of the Kingdom of Christ”. And there would be no middle ground. Click below to read or listen to the entire article:
